THE STORY OF A PHOTOGRAPHER

 Growing up in the small town of Statesville, NC I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in art. I would spend countless hours drawing, coloring, and painting. My aunt would gift me my first film camera before I went off to college that I still use to this day. In 2012, I graduated from UNC Wilmington with a BA in Studio Art where I discovered my love for print making and photography. Deciding to pursue my passion for photography, I also obtained a BS in Commercial Photography from Appalachian State University. While studying at App, I completed a short internship for a studio in NYC. Always being drawn by the coast, I currently live in Wilmington, NC with my husband and two dogs. Presently, I am the Photography Supervisor at REED's Jewelers and have years of experience with the creative process.
